Only a wink mind, it's got very modern Tagged as 4e, d&d, reviews, thunderspire · ← Five at the brink of Desolation. For the core Dungeons & Dragons Fourth Edition campaign as described in Fourth Edition Dungeon Master's Guide and continued in H1, Keep on the Shadowfell, H2, Thunderspire Labyrinth, and H3, Pyramid of Shadows. H1 Keep on the Shadowfell I found to be “OK.” It was a straight forward linear adventure that was fine for an introduction into 4E but certainly nothing special. When it comes to H2: Thunderspire Labyrinth, I think I can divide the Yessirs! If Keep was a nod to B2: Keep on the Borderlands then surely H2 tips a wink to the classic Giant/Drow modules of the late 70s. Thunderspire Labyrinth is the second part of the H/P/E series and it stands apart from it's contemporaries in that it doesn't attract too much ire from the intercrowd. H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth is a D&D adventure designed for heroic-tier characters of levels 4–6. Wrapped up H2: Thunderspire Labyrinth - not as good as Keep on the Shadowfell I ran Keep on the Shadowfell for the D&D group that plays periodically at Timewarp Comics & Games, right as D&D 4E was released. It can be played as a standalone adventure or as the second part of a three-part series. After a bit of a thud going from H1 to H2, Ben wanted something much more memorable as the group transitions out of Thunderspire Labyrinth and into Pyramid of Shadows (H3). D&D 4.0 H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth - Beneath Thunderspire Mountain lies a sprawling network of mazes, tombs, and caverns collectively known as the Labyrinth of Lost Souls. This evening, I picked up my copy of Thunderspire Labyrinth from a national retailer (btw, there was one more copy available at the store on the west side of town). (Spoilers!)
